Airship is thrilled to announce that our builder and React Native virtuoso Alex Hinson has been selected to speak at not one, but FOUR esteemed developer conferences in 2019 (with two being international destinations!).

Alex will be speaking at the following conferences and locations. Read more about each conference and what React Native awesomeness he will be presenting below:

jsday 2019 - Verona, Italy

I mean, c'mon. How cool is it that Alex gets to speak in ITALY at a highly admired Javascript conference?

Since 2012, the jsday mantra has been "the most used language, the most needed conference." This conference is fully dedicated to all-things Javascript and attracts attendees from all over Italy, Europe, Canada, and the U.S.

Alex will be presenting, "Rapid Cross-Platform AR Development with React Native" at the upcoming event in early May. Read more about his talk on their speaker page.

Chain React Conference - Portland, Oregon

Our whole crew freaked out when we heard the news that Alex was going to be a speaker at one of our favorite conferences. The Airship Builders have attended the Chain React Conference since it began in 2017, so it's only fitting that our longtime attendee and React Native guru becomes a speaker.

Alex will be presenting a lightning talk, "Convert A React Native Project To TypeScript In 10 Minutes" at the conference, which is being held July 11-12.

Kansas City Dev Con - Kansas City, Kansas

For 11 years, the Kansa City Developer Conference has drawn a large audience of new and experienced Developers, PMs, and Technology Managers from Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, Oklahoma, and the Dakotas. The two-day, multitrack event covers all aspects of software development, design, and project management.

Alex will be presenting, "Rapid Cross-Platform AR Development with React Native" at the event being held July 18-19.

ComponentsConf - Melbourne, Australia

Just when we didn't think it was possible for Alex to get any cooler, he goes and does something like this. Seriously, AUSTRALIA!!

ComponentsConf is for front-end and full-stack developers with exclusive focus on JavaScript frameworks. World-class experts share unique insights and their knowledge/expertise in not only in established technologies like React, Angular and Vue, but also in emerging cutting-edge mobile and web tech stacks.

Alex will be presenting, "The Final Push: Deploying React Native" at the event being held September 9-10. Read the topic brief and learn more about the aussome conference here.

Start with: What problem are you trying to solve?

One of the activities we work through revolves around refining your problem statement. A problem statement is the key business problem that needs to be solved. In software development, it states “what has to be done” for a project to succeed. It does not say, “how it has to be done.”

We use the 5W’s + 1 H format as well as the SMART Framework when establishing a problem statement. In fact, you can draft your own problem statement by using our free download. This download will get you thinking through some of the questions and answers prior to starting your project.
